Peace through understanding and cooperation

The Big Draw

"The more you look the more you see"

(THE BRITISH MUSEUM)

The more you see, the more you understand and respect

THE FOUNDER OF THE CHANDOS ALSO WORKS PART-TIME AT THE BRITISH MUSEUM

COORDINATING EVENTS, INCLUDING THE ANNUAL 'BIG DRAW'

At the end of a day leading a drawing workshop, the founder admires a 'new autumnal crown' created for Alexander the Great at the British Museum, undertaken predominantly by brave members of the public with no previous drawing experience (part of 'The Big Draw', an international campaign to encourage drawing)

The founder's involvement at the British Museum includes hosting visiting lecturers, workshops and special events. The British Museum is one of the great international bodies with an unrivalled capacity to spread understanding and cooperation internationally.

The founder is proud to be a modest part of this extraordinary institution, reaching out to the general public to spread the best aspects of civilisation to and from every corner of the world.
